I have always found the Engine Pub a friendly place to eat and drink and l like old pubs they have character.Parking: Unless you get there early parking outside pub is restricted to a few cars,if you venture across the road you can find a place to park but it is a gamble.

Stopped in after a walk from Coventry. Been 15 years since I have been here. Great pub and friendly cliental and staff. Highly recommend. Fair few people in there for a week day night. I know why now ?

It was my first visit today. The pub was very welcoming, we had lunch lovely salmon. The engine has a really nice community pub feel.It was lovely to finally go to the pub my great grandad Tomas Jackson ran many years ago.

Have heard good reviews about this place in the past about the quality of the ale and so forth. I can't see the reason for the fuss. I paid nearly £4 for a very indifferent pint with an after taste. Not my cup of tea at all - pint of beer I mean
