Cuzzy spot to share fun moments with family and friends. Clean and welcoming. Couldn't ask for a better place to be than Lord Nelson Inn. Will certainly visit it

We had a roast dinner and it was loverly. My only moan is it wasn't busy for sunday dinner time and the it took 45 mins to come out. There only seemed to be one girl taking orders while 3 or 4 others were standing chatting. Very poor customer service.Parking: Its only a small village pub and the parking round the back is very tight. I bet its a nightmare when its busy.

Excelent food and good atmosphere, good value and did not skimp on quantity.Wheelchair accessibility: Might be a bit tight inside, but staff are friendly and helpful, so I am sure they could work something out.

Waited approximately 45 minutes for ten meals, two of which were barely warm when they arrived. Soon taken away and heated up when we asked though. Zero atmosphere tonight, background music barely audible. Have eaten here several times before and always had a good experience in the past, not sure what went wrong tonight, just a shame two of our party had travelled an hour from Nottingham to experience the Nelson nowhere near at it's best .

Sunday lunch time party of 13 adults and kids for a 60th birthday. From when I booked the staff couldn't help enough (numbers kept increasing) they allowed me in early to decorate table. Friendly staff. Great menu. Food was lovely, we had a great time! Paper plates and napkins provided for the birthday cake, the who family really enjoyed it! And the price was fantastic! Fair prices for food and drink, it is what it is a great family restaurant with a great atmosphere, thank you ?
