Sunday lunch time party of 13 adults and kids for a 60th birthday. From when I booked the staff couldn't help enough (numbers kept increasing) they allowed me in early to decorate table. Friendly staff. Great menu. Food was lovely, we had a great time! Paper plates and napkins provided for the birthday cake, the who family really enjoyed it! And the price was fantastic! Under new management. Things are afoot. A charming micro pub in a currently dying town. Its a becon of hope for those who love rare and real ales, and more. Best wishes to the new owners.Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry from pavement.
Been here many times and came for Sunday lunch with my Mother who lives locally. We sat in the area to the far side, which I have never eaten in before. Although the main area of the pub is reasonably decorated, unfortunately the area we were shown to is in great need of refurbishment. It does feel like a 1980’s diner.That said, the food is good.
