Came for Christmas Day lunch, was lovely, only 1 sitting, none of the 2 hour time slot here, then gotta leave , arrived at 12.30 to a busy pub but the atmosphere was great, after all it is a local pub so expect it to be busy, given our table and had a drink before the food arrived, wow lovely bread and the best olive oil dip we have had, glass of prosecco, crackers, the starters, main course then pudding, food lovely and hot although we did miss out on pigs in blankets but hey...read full review
Found this place by accident while looking for a post office. The welcome was nothing short of wonderful, made us feel really comfortable, especially as new customers. The place was warm, unusual for pub these days, and it was spotless. Ordering was simple and the lady behind the bar was amazing. Food and drinks were spot on, well portioned and fresh, with the service as professional as everything else we encountered. Very friendly & accommodating redarding a wheelchair elderly user. They were very helpful. Toilets were spotless. The food was really good & reasonably priced. Definitely be back again.Wheelchair accessibility: They were verygood & reserved a good table for us. Tables were comfortable to eat at, even for a wheelchair user.
