My friend and I had an excellent meal here last night. The food was delicious and we wanted to give special mention to the very hard working Emilie for her brilliant and efficient service making sure that we had a lovely evening with plenty to eat and drink. Thank you Emilie!
We were due to eat elsewhere but plans changed last minute, and I remembered this place was great a few years ago. Safe to say it lived up to expectations once again. Very friendly welcome, accommodated is even though we hadn’t booked and they were busy. The food came out in good time, piping hot and oh so tasty! One of the best roast dinners possible to imagine. Well done team, it’s no surprise you’re so busy.

What a gem! Beautiful building. There are several charming dining rooms adorned with old beams and full of character. Really pleasant staff, excellent Sunday lunch, thick slices of perfectly cooked beef with tasty vege and wonderful horseradish. Definitely a good place to stop if passing near Dunchurch. Highly recommend.
