First time experience of the Huntsman Carvery. Impressed doesn't even begin to cover it, reminded me of going out for a Carvery back in the 80s with my grandparents. 3 courses of traditional food. Just been for our 3rd visit. We liked it before but tonight was even better. Great staff and service. Polite attentive and really made us feel welcome. Food was great as always and as meat lovers there was more than enough. It's definitely a place to visit time and time again.
The food here is amazing, what makes it so special is how passionate and proud the chef is. The meats are cooked low and slow so they fall apart when you eat them, and they are very generous with portions of meat - unlike most places. There is a small selection of veg, usually 2 options, but that’s plenty when you have so much meat.
