In all the places I have eaten fish and chips this has to be one of the best, I don’t mean just Rugby, it might be you have longer to wait but the fish is always superb, crispy and taste is great, the other thing here is the portions are ‘overwhelming’ great value. Been coming here since I moved to Rugby 10 years ago. Took a while to find a decent chippy. Can't fault this place fish and chips top class. Fish good quality, way better than most places, and freshly cooked. If you want a good, traditional chippy, this is the place.

Having been to 4 fish & chips shops in my 13 months in Rugby, the other 3 were forgotten the moment my tastebuds collided with Robins (wife) undefinable batter, moreish. It’s highly likely you do not know this about me, but I live adjacent to a chippy on Murray RD, yet I cycle up that steep hill and happily wait so I can be rewarded with moreish batter, it’s a dreamers dream !
