Very good coffee at a reasonable price. Fantastic range of home made scones. Full menu has not been restored yet post COVID which also applies to opening hours. Top rating for hygiene.

PUMBRIDGE

A homespun, friendly little cafe with a good lunch selection and teas, either at the cosy tables squeezed into the inside space or - better still, if the weather's up to it - in the well-kept garden. The food is of the jacket potato, sandwich, soup and quiche variety, mainly home-made as part of the Quakers' community involvement. It's around £3 for soup and a scone, or about £6 for quiche and salad. We had the home-made cake and flapjacks, which were very good. It's an interesting building with modest lunch and tea offerings and a pleasant, personal touch. They'd run out of Earl Grey tea, but the lemonade was nice!

I visited to discuss something with the caretaker rather than to use the cafe (which was emitting some lovely and very tempting aromas)

Inexpensive and a friendly atmosphere. On a summer's day its gardens offer a quiet refuge from the busy streets. A special place.

Simple, enjoyable fare in this cozy caff that the Quaker Center runs as a volunteer operation
