On a packed afternoon, an unflappable barman cheerfully pulled up three seats for us to sit at the bar as if we were old pals. From our front-row berths we ordered two lively and refreshing beers and a can of fizzy apple Cawston. The sourdough pizzas arrived soon after and were delicious, being fresh out of the wood-fired oven. A terrific visit much thanks to D&B making everyone feel at home.
