Balsall St, Balsall Common, CoventryWe booked for Sunday lunch, really easy on their website. Menu had enough choice to suit most people. Sunday lunch was hot, seasonal as well as delicious. Nice portions everything well cooked and just enough, particularly if having a starter which we didn't and a dessert which we did. Roast beef was tender, roast potatoes were crispy, greens were vibrant. Yorkie pud obviously homemade and lovely. At just under £20.00 for each dinner very much worth it. Choice of Beef, pork or turkey, or all 3.\nVery good selection of drinks. Gorgeous Malbec to wash it down with. Nice sides available, stuffing balls (served with other roasts on the plate) as well as pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese for additional price.\nGreat selection of puds, we had lemon tart, berry compote and clotted cream, which was lush. The cheesecake with sour cherry sauce was a delight. \nLoads of parking very pleasent outdoor seating area, and you can take dogs, water and treats provided for them too. Service was polite and on point. Staff very professional and efficient. Food came after a short wait of about 15-20 minutes, which we didn'tmind. We were well within the 2hr slot given for the table. This is clearly a really good local used by those within walking distance as well as those from further afield. There were families as well as couples, one group celebrating a birthday.\nWill definitely return, not to be missed.

La Stalla Italian restaurant in Solihull
299 Kenilworth Rd, Balsall Common, CoventryThey were busy but every member of staff ran around like headless chickens looking after everyone. The food was beautiful, the service was attentive albeit a little slow but the staff were lovely and worked really hard. I don't know his name but the young man looking after us was brilliant. He wouldn't sell me the painting at the front door but we won't hold it against him! Next time I'll increase my offer, I haven't given up on it! We had 5 people celebrating a birthday and the birthday boy got a candle in his Tiramisu (although he was so drunk I had to talk him down from eating said candle!). Anyway... A lovely meal, lovely drinks and great service. I would recommend whole heartedly and defo go again. Oh by the way, the fillet steak was amazing covered in gorgonzola cheese sauce ?

Kenilworth Rd, Balsall Common, CoventryA group of 6 went for a meal on Friday we were shown to our table and drinks ordered straight away.\nWe were served by Natalie throughout our meal. She was very peasant and attentive during our meal and nothing was too much trouble for her. Our meal was lovely and we were all served our meals at the same time.\nWhen the food arrived it was well presented and hot.\nWill definitely be visiting again.
