Was a solid Chinese cheap and cheerful. The women behind the desk was English funnily enough, my mate necked her in the pub round the corner and she said he kissed like a slug. Chow Mein 5 stars, the Kiss 2. Would come again
Initial impressions are good - clean and tidy and a warm welcome, despite being just before midnight (on the way home from a one day music festival). Two beef chow mein, prawn crackers and mini spring rolls (lovely tasting but volcanic! - man, they were hot) and, of course, prawn crackers.Ample portions - we've got nearly half for lunch later! Had chicken chow mein for the first time in months for our anniversary having had it lots of times before , but this time it was Dry, very little chicken and beansprouts and tasteless I had to reach into my own cupboard for soy sauce to make it palatable. Complete waste of money!
