We went to the Actress & Bishop to see Andy Bennett (ex Ocean Colour Scene) perform. We were able to reserve a table a couple of days before hand, for when we arrived. It was a very busy place with lots of people coming & going. Andy Bennett was brilliant, especially as there was also a group playing upstairs which could be heard in between his songs. The Actress and Bishop is a charming pub located in the heart of Birmingham that offers a fantastic experience for anyone looking for a relaxed and enjoyable evening out. Very nice venue and atmosphere. The toilets ran out of toilet roll which is bad when it was a busy night. We watched a great selection of songs by Carl sinclair and Harry Weston. First time there and impressed at the decor. Would have liked to see a picture showing previous use in history as a jewellery shop.
