A hidden gem of Birmingham, this place is amazing in every way. When you see it from outside you think it's a tacky, but the decor is outstanding, the atmosphere is epic and the food is to die for. Reasonably priced as well, honestly a must go to if you in Birmingham. Had never tried Ethiopian/Eritrean food before and this was amazing. The hospitality of the restaurant owners was so heart warming. They greeted us with smile ever since we walked in. It's a family run business I am told and the owner Kassim is a lovely gentleman who goes out of the way to make your time at his place special. If you want Ethiopian food at its best, then Blue Nile is the only choice! We ordered the Blue Nile special for two and a vegan combination platter. The food tasted absolutely delicious and the portions were huge. The lady serving us was super friendly and kind. The whole restaurant was decorated really nicely as well. Definitely coming back for more ?
