Nice hot/fresh fish & chips and a sausage. Quite a wait however given the food was freshly cooked it was acceptable. Nothing noticeable in terms of service. Appeared nice & clean and well decorated.
Having not had Fish & Chips for ages, I thought i'd pop over and give Captain John's a go. Opted for large chips, large cod and large mushypeas (yes, i was hungry!!) Portion sizes were perfect and the chips and cod was cooked fresh to order. Perfectly done and not greasy!!I can see a few bad reviews on here but my own experience was brilliant. Great food and great service

Okay if you need some food quickly. A bit pricey but its the JQ. The service was okay just strange that they didn't offer napkins. Chips were good. Fish batter was disappointing and soft instead of crispy. The fish itself was nice. I just feel like they could try a bit harder for the amount you are paying.
