We stayed at the Plough and Harrow overnight as we attended a concert at the Symphony Hall. Very conveniently situated, there is a free car park on site. We were welcomed by a lovely lady at Reception. We love the Victorian building. The breakfast room, lobby and sitting room are nicely decorated and furnished in the Victorian style. This is a review for the hotel - there is only breakfast served there. We stayed for 2 nights as the wake for a family funeral was held there. It is an old hotel so no lifts. The staff were, without exception, very friendly and eager to help, some needed a little more training but were still very eager to help. Great venue to hold a small function such as a birthday party or anniversary. The staff are very friendly and helpful there is lots of onsite free secure parking. I would highly recommend.
