Booked for 4pm to have the Sunday lunch platter but when we arrived it was not available probably because we had a latish booking. Selected the beef dinner instead which was still lovely. Felt a little out of it as we were placed down the side out of view of everything and even the staff so had to ask for drinks and the bill. Food is great hats off to the chef ??

We initially visited Tuesday evening but we would have been the only people eating in the restaurant area so left to find a bit more atmosphere. We returned Thursday evening when it was much better with an almost full restaurant area and music playing. The turkey pie and chicken and bacon burger were both very good as well was the beer which is the norm for this pub.
