This was the second time visiting the Red Cow as part of our 'lads group' monthly tour of desi pubs around the West Midlands. On our first visit, this place came out on top for its food, and the second visit did not disappoint. Between the six of us we ordered a 'fat cow' mixed grill, chicken lollipops, chilli chicken lollipops (x2), chilli king prawns (x2), Keema naan (x3), chilli chips (x3) as well as a Massala sauce and a Madras sauce for a bit of lubrication! Went on a Thursday evening to the Red cow. Thought the worst as there was 1 table occupied by diners. How wrong we were!We went for the ‘fat cow’ chilli chips, masala chips, lollipop chicken, chilli lollipops and 3 naans. We asked for the chips and naans to be upgraded on the fat cow as it only comes with plain but it was lost in translation so we got 3 plain naans and 2 chips additional to what we wanted.The fat cow grill itself was sensational. Excellent place to visit, the food, drinks are all reasonably priced compared to other rip of pubs.
