A very different experience to the madly busy other Fullers pub up the road by the square.Proper pub, not bad beer (although Fullers/Asahi really should be using microbrewey products as guests) and spacious.
First visit and probably last for food although i would return for a drink only. Hugely disappointed with some of the food, fish and chips was good and value for money, but the burgers were the issue-small burger and bap with about 10 to 12 chips with a slice of bacon (extra £2.50 !!!!) In total nearly £20.00!!! You would have better value for money with a McDonald's Big Mac. Can't say enough how disappointed I was with those meals, it's like they were children's portions both...read full review

Thanks to Michael for reserving a lovely booth for our reunion lunch in Birmingham. Christa gave us a lovely warm welcome and fantastic service during our visit, nothing was too much trouble.?? The food was ok for the price, fish was tasty, but it was quite a small portion of chips. ?
