We were staying in a local hotel and we're looking for somewhere to eat before a concert. When we arrived we were told there were no tables available for a meal. A lovely young gentleman behind the bar said we could sit in the garden in one of the heated booths and would we like him to show us. He took us out in the garden, put the electric heater on and went and got us a menu and took our order for drinks. Excellent service, nice atmosphere and ambience. We were only meeting here before going on elsewhere, but stayed for the rest of our evening as it was so nice. Excellent choice of drinks available, and the food was top notch. Highly recommend, even if just as a meeting point.

The Shakespeare is a great spot for locals and visitors!The staff are friendly and service is fast. With it being directly next to Birmingham New Street station it is perfect for a quick drink or snack.As we came for a quick drop off I grabbed a nice pint of Amstel and also some bar snacks. We ordered the Ham & Cheese Toastie and chicken bites which was absolutely amazing!They have lots to choose from and the quality of food is great! Highly recommended
