After seeing some of the recent reviews on TripAdvisor I was a bit apprehensive about going to Akbars for the first time but it lived up to all of the excellent comments I had previously heard. The food and service were excellent. I had the chicken Bhuna and the meat was tender and succulent with amazing flavours and the portion size was good as I didn't manage to finish everything (even without a starter). Been here for the 4th time in the last 12 months. Best indian in Coventry i believe. Food has been ever so tasty and piping hot. The waiters are friendly and helpful. I don't want to go elsewhere.

Food is good.\\nEverything is good except the service is slow. Asking for same thing at least 4 different waiters/waitresses then you get water with ice ;)\\n\\nIt gets busy on Friday evenings and that causes the slowness but I love this place . Food is good, parking is available for free and the staff is good too.\\n\\nImprove the service and would definitely get a 5 start rating.
