our first visit here and found what a lovely restaurant and bar experience it was. This place really knocks spots off his place at the Cube. In fact it makes the Cube look more like a transport cafe. The staff at the table were excellent , however the 2 steaks we had were not great but ok. For the money you pay you expect excellence and they were not. For that reason I would not return due to the cost.
This was not up to the standard of other MPW restaurants we have eaten in. The service was fine but that can't be said of the food. Hard boiled egg in the scotch egg, over cooked squid and what can only be described as "oven chips". I have sent my comments direct and received no reply. Very disappointing and a meal for two was over £100.
