We went on a Sunday lunch time to meet up with friends for a catch up. There were 7 of us.We found the staff to be lovely, very chatty and jovial.It had an old fashioned feel to it. Definitely a drinkers pub. We didn't have food, just crisps.There wasn't any loud music, just locals chatting and playing cribbage. A good old English original country pub, dog friendly, and with a good selection of Beer's and Ciders, what more do you need.We should all support our locals, ues them, or lose them.

This is a fabulous pub , with a peaceful ,sunny beer garden, tucked away in Meriden. Lovely staff and clientele. Really friendly atmosphere. The perfect place to watch the Ladies Euro final !
