Lovely pub with great food. Large menu which was very reasonably priced. Good beer & very friendly staff. We will be back.

Travelling through on a narrowboat we ALWAYS stop for a pint or three! Their ales are really good with something for almost any ale drinker. In fact we have been know to make a detour in order to visit. However we have just had a Sunday roast that would be hard to beat anywhere! The beef was beautiful, tender and tasty. The homemade Yorkshire puddings were to die for, and I'm not usually a great fan! Plenty of roasties, new potatoes and veg along with a generous amount of the most delicious gravy. Absolutely perfect. Fantastic value. Thanks so much.

Great atmospheric Black Country traditional Pub. Car Park at rear with easy access. Much history associated with the area and must keep open. A good tourist attraction to visit and a v well known Netherton Pub, serving good beer too.

The home made food , authentic drinks , good service and oldie worldly vibe were really good. Will definitely visit again ?? we didn’t realize until we went into the little beer garden that there is also a car park at the rear.. great little gem

I love Pardoes. Treat it as my local even though it's a 10 minute drive from home. Food is exceptional, home brewed pints are fantastic and the bar staff are a great bunch.However... I can't give it a full 5 stars because ordering food is so frustrating. Bizarrely, despite clear demand, they stop serving food for 3 hours in the middle of the day (12:30-2:30) and they don't serve food AT ALL on Sundays?! For a pub that serves such exceptional traditional British food, it blows my mind how you can't get atleast a roast dinner on a Sunday? Also, depending on who's cooking on the day, it's near impossible to make changes to a set meal. I once asked for 'no chips' with nothing in their place and the kitchen refused?! It feels like there's someone in the kitchen dictating all these ridiculous rules but that's just my speculation.I understand staff need breaks and that you can't run a kitchen 24/7. But surely there's a better way of doing it than closing on one of the service industries busiest days and then closing for 3 hours in the middle of service?Again, love the place, but I'd love to walk in here one day without having missed the 'food window'.

A real pub, run by real people, brewing real beer on the premises. The beer is lovely. I had Bumblehole IPA. It was smooth and light , but well flavoured. The ploughman's was very tasty and the bread was a real hunk, light and soft, with a nice crust.
