Travelling through on a narrowboat we ALWAYS stop for a pint or three! Their ales are really good with something for almost any ale drinker. In fact we have been know to make a detour in order to visit. However we have just had a Sunday roast that would be hard to beat anywhere! The beef was beautiful, tender and tasty. Great atmospheric Black Country traditional Pub. Car Park at rear with easy access. Much history associated with the area and must keep open. A good tourist attraction to visit and a v well known Netherton Pub, serving good beer too.

The home made food , authentic drinks , good service and oldie worldly vibe were really good. Will definitely visit again ?? we didn’t realize until we went into the little beer garden that there is also a car park at the rear.. great little gem
