Superb food, we were a party of 10 and everyone loved it, great quality. This place is popular, very busy and quite loud inside, but that's due to their success, everyone in there was having a great time. The staff are quick and work hard to keep everyone happy. This is a fine quality Indian restaurant.

Visited this afternoon.Super front bar as well as an interesting Smoke Room and other interiors.
Very friendly and helpfull staff.I had a super cheese and onion roll with black pudding.The cheese good and strong.Nice regulars and a pleasant atmosphere.Beer and food very reasonably priced. No wonder this is a local institution.Very happy to have visited.

Popped in one chilly lunchtime whilst on a short work assignment in Dudley. Ordered the hot pork roll with stuffing/gravy and a tea. At £5 i thought it was great value and was delicious(loved the crunchy crackling pieces on top!)The two ladies that were serving were lovely and friendly and never stood still as they were always cleaning down the work services etc so the place was spotless. I'd definately pop in again if i'm back in the area.

This desi pub is an absolute GEM of a pub. Honestly, some of the nicest indian food I've had. Very fairly priced, lovely, friendly, helpful staff and did I mention that the food here is delicious!? HOLY CATS, if you are a carnivore and extra hungry, get yourself the large tandoori mixed grill. Don't question this! Just brace yourself for an insanely good meal. I've had it three times. Not all at once on the bounce, but on each visit. Incredibly flavourful. The delicate fish pakora is out of this world. The beer selection is solid, on my last visit, I was all about the Newcastle Brown Ale. Not too heavy after a glorious, massive feed. Treat yourself, go to The Hope, you won't regret it.

Have eaten inside and also collected to eat at home - regardless of location, the food is stunning. It looks and tastes both fresh and authentic, with the set menu a particular highlight.
In the restaurant, it is cosy but that adds to the atmosphere, especially as it is co-located within a Holdens pub. Drink and food prices are very fair, and portions are substantial.
Finally, the staff are always friendly, and the takeaway is almost always ready at the allotted collection time - showing it is freshly made.

We had Afternoon Tea and it was absolutely beautiful. Our table was set with tablecloths and some lovely china crockery. There was an excellent selection of sandwiches and small cakes with unlimited tea and coffee. Staff put a small ramp to enable my mom to access the area where out table was more easily. Staff were very attentive. We will definitely be booking again.

Usually a good stand by for dinner. Service was good. However, I have noticed that the prices are staying the same but the portions are being drastically reduced. Had fish and chips tonight, fish was definitely smaller than usual and there were less chips and peas. It was also served without tartare sauce or the customary lemon. On asking for sauce I was informed that this previously free condiment hadn't been put through the till but on this occasion it would be provided. On checking the menu tartare sauce is not included in the extras or offered with the dish so how do you know you have to order it separately when it's previously been provided with the meal?

They have no registered office, so all correspondence will come to you. Considering their listed waste site is Willesden Junction, which is an interchange station in Harlesden, north-west London, serving the Bakerloo line (London Underground) & about 115 miles away. I would contact Company House and let them know that your address is being used to help them maintain accuracy. Shipleys Amusement is also being used by the same people. They have just created another name, AMCE

Food was hot & fresh & tasty. The woman on the phone was extremley polite & welcoming. However. The background was awful with music blasting & people shouting/talking loud. She had to go in the backroom just to speak to me. I specefically asked about the fried chicken and if it was a sweet chili-ish sauce as i have had this before & disliked it and she said no. I stated that this was good because i dont like my chicken dry. I also asked for an extra pot of jew/gravy just incase & she said that was fine. the fried chicken came with the bit of sweet sauce & so did the pot. Im extremely gutted. The portion of mutton i ordered was in a (chinese style curry pot) which is small to say it cost £6. But the flavours i can not fault. I get its each to their own but unless there is a juicy option with the fried chicken i won’t be ordering again. Sorry guys.
