The Old Swan ('Ma Pardoe's') takes its nickname from Mrs Doris Pardoe licensee until 1984. The pub is grade 2 listed, it's unspoilt interior is recognised as being of national importance, unchanged since Victorian times the enamel panelled ceiling in the front bar is an incredible rarity. The pub also has its own brewhouse and still brews its own beer. Good beer Good Food one of my favourite pubs in all of England.

Travelling through on a narrowboat we ALWAYS stop for a pint or three! Their ales are really good with something for almost any ale drinker. In fact we have been know to make a detour in order to visit. However we have just had a Sunday roast that would be hard to beat anywhere! The beef was beautiful, tender and tasty. The homemade Yorkshire puddings were to die for, and I'm not usually a great fan! Plenty of roasties, new potatoes and veg along with a generous amount of the most delicious gravy. Absolutely perfect. Fantastic value. Thanks so much.

Great atmospheric Black Country traditional Pub. Car Park at rear with easy access. Much history associated with the area and must keep open. A good tourist attraction to visit and a v well known Netherton Pub, serving good beer too.

The home made food , authentic drinks , good service and oldie worldly vibe were really good. Will definitely visit again ?? we didn’t realize until we went into the little beer garden that there is also a car park at the rear.. great little gem

This is a wonderful old eclectic pub serving beers from its own brewery. They're top quality and come at great prices. We didn't eat, but we spoke to people who said the food is just as good as its beers. Pubs like this are disappearing at an alarming rate. Use them or lose them. Make sure this remains open to continue serving the community and visitors like myself. Go and enjoy a good ale served by friendly bartenders who'll give you good information on their range.

Excellent cheese and onion cob with a side of chips washed down with a pint , don't tell anyone though as I would not like them to sell out before I get there next time

First visit to this pub. We had a lunch choosing a ploughman's for myself and chilli for hubby with some shared home made fries. Cooking was all home cooked food a refreshing change.
