Not much on our plates. I asked to change peas to bean and she refused and said something about messing up the stock on till. I've been eating out regular all my life and I have NEVER been told that I can't change peas to beans.Chicken was over cooked and dry. I definitely won't go back again.

Went with family Christmas Day for dinner, the starter, main course and dessert were all FANTASTIC plus a complementary glass of Proseco, followed by mince pie and tea/coffee. Staff were very organised, professional and extremely friendly and obviously hard working. To sum up the day it was EXCELLENT.

9 of us came here for Christmas dinner. Well looked after, food was delicious, 5 courses. Great value for money. Definitely want to book next year.

Came for Christmas dinner. 9 in our party. Food delicious, staff were lovely. Atmosphere great. Have eaten here a few times and never had a bad meal but Christmas Day excelled itself.

Booked the lounge for a function, it was a wake after my brother Neil's funeral. Ideal room, nice atmosphere and excellent staff.

Planned a family Christmas meal, rang in advance to make sure they have disabled facilities were told that they did. Got there, couldn't find an entrance with a ramp for my son who is wheelchair dependent. I went inside to ask if they had a wheelchair entrance we're told by a bar staff member they did and she would go and get the ramp stood outside for 10 minutes waiting in the cold, nobody came! I Went back inside to then be told by who I think was the manager? that they no longer had a ramp as it had just been condemned and that they were waiting for the brewery to send them a new one!! In the year 2023 to not have wheelchair access to a public place is beyond me. My son can drive a car whilst sat in his wheelchair, yet he can't enter a pub for a meal with his family for Christmas because they haven't got a ramp just blows my mind. And any excuse of 'it's a listed building and they can't make any changes to it' doesn't stick as you can have a portable ramp that you unfold and then fold back up after! Shame really cause the inside of the pub looked lovely and the food smelt and looked nice too. But as they only cater for able bodied persons we will never know!

We received a really warm welcome from Paris, who was very attentive. We ate Singapore noodles, one with chicken and one with crispy cauliflower and sticky toffee pudding. Compliments to Jack - the food was delicious, it was piping hot and arrived promptly. Nice little pub with a cracking menu. Thank you ?

Really nice pub. Cheap drinks and a good menu. The garden could be a lot nicer. It’ll be nice if the pub did summer events in the garden, like BBQs, but definitely needs a garden update. Staff friendly and helpful. It’s nice that dogs are allowed in as well The car park could do with a bit of a revamp
