Great pub. Haven't been in for a while and had a lovely couple of drinks with the wife before a meal. Great atmosphere in there, and it was only 5.30!! Beer was kept well and a great selection of ales. Staff were really friendly as well. A great start to our date night!!
Went Christmas day lunchtime. Lovely pub , lovely atmosphere but barman( think it was landlord) was very abrupt and lacked patience with my son in law who was visiting me and first language is not English. Very sad because he enjoyed trying the different ales served here

Very nice pub until we were served by the landlady. Needs to smile or if you are fed up with working or running a pub GET OUT of it. The ales and cobs were nice. Maybe its because we were not locals but like I say the only thing that spoiled our visit was one person.
