I hadn't visited the plough in many year's ( since John ran it ) really enjoyed the quality kept beer. and decent prices for a small boozer! The, bar staff were very friendly and prompt, my only grip was the decor the whole pub is in need of a dire referb, the place looked shabby and suffered from lack of ambience the over lighting especially in the snug which always used to be a cosy nook in the lounge. Great little pub, with reasonably priced, well-kept beers. Nice beer garden, and friendly staff. You know you are in for a friendly welcome when you enter the car park, and see 3 WBA number plates as well as you own. Love it.
