Family pub, stopped with grandchildren. Nothing to get excited about but not horrible.

Nice pub but the food is horrendous. No limes, no wine glasses. Staff are nice and friendly, other than that I'd avoid.

Thought we would pop in as the place has recently had a makeover. This was my local 20 years ago, and although I can still recognise the place, it is no longer for me. Too many kids are allowed to run around inside the pub, and dogs having a go at each other as owners have no control over them. Not for me, and £12 for 2 drinks outside the city, probably won't be back, sorry

We didn't particularly plan on coming here but couldn't be bothered to cook one evening. The menu is varied, has suitable options for vegetarians and the children's menu was suitable for all the awkward/picky eaters out there. We ate off the set menu and it was very good value for money. £15 for 3 courses. Service was friendly and quick. We will be back.
Sarah is a custodian of excellent customer service.

Just popped in to see the recent refurb and a quick pint. The barman was super friendly. Served a great pint. I will return for food.Parking: A hidden gem.

Great pub for drinks and a meal, cosy atmosphere, very friendly staff and well priced. Plus it’s dog friendly ?
