Place used to be cleaner and more efficient. In the last few months it is not as good; staff don't seem to be as polite as the previous ones. Coffee also not as tasty as previously. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and paid another visit a few months later and it hadn't improved. The other branch over in Mell Square is better run. I have accrued a number of loyalty points for Nero but won't be returning to this branch.

The coffee was far from the best. Have you changed the coffee you use? It was tasteless and far too milky for a cappuccino. The added cinnamon - although plenty - was also quite tasteless and rough. Certainly well below what we expect from Caffè Nero.

Of all the coffee chains, I find Café Nero to be the most attractive. On this occasion in Solihull, the service was as ever efficient and friendly. I like the sensible cup sizes as well as the design of the cups. The loyalty scheme works very well. I find the coffee to be to my taste.The choice of cakes is more than acceptable, although I would like to see cinnamon buns introduced. The tables were in good order. Obviously, the staff members were ensuring that used crockery was removed quickly. I think that Cafe Nero offers reasonable value for money when compared with other venues

We went for coffee and Tea I always have a pot of tea to be told the dishwasher is broken and they can’t wash up by hand they have to use take out ups! They said they are washing up by hand during the week but not at weekends! This was 08.15am on a Saturday morning there were maybe five people in there with two people serving and they could not supply a pot of tea! Very poor attitude!

I asked for a slice of lemon meringue cheesecake as was recommended by a friend along with a mango fro yo with coconut milk to make it more tropical (I did forget to mention the 'tropical' bit though for the product name). The cheesecake was delicious although the slice for the price was fairly small (my friend told me they were on offer) and I'm almost certain they forgot to put the mango in the fro yo as I realized after drinking it. I didn't taste any mango at all and after looking at their website realized the mango can usually be seen but this was all just white like coconut milk, with the strawberry sugar pearls on the top of it. Other than that it was a good atmosphere and staff were friendly. I would also like to state at the till there was some confusion with what I was asking for so it might have genuinely been a mistake with the drink
