Food was great, toys for kids and the customer service was incredible, especially the blonde lady with the tattoos.

Great food as always! Slightly frustrating interactions with the server this time though. I ordered a flat white with cold milk using the online menu (so that it was safe to drink next to my toddler) and the server came to check whether I wanted it iced. No thank you, I'd just like the milk to be cold please. She then explained that a flat white is a hot coffee and again ask if I meant an iced coffee. Eventually I thought I had explained it properly by asking for it to be room temperature, but then the coffee I got was scalding hot anyway! I appreciate checking once but it made me feel like I was going a bit bonkers.Similar with my food order, I got a selection of the 'extras' and some were veggie (vegan sausage, vegan bacon) but I also got chicken for my daughter. When the server brought them over she made it sound like my order was weird and even said 'the kitchen was confused'! Everything I ordered was on the menu so I don't see what was confusing. It can't be that unusual that someone orders for multiple people at once, and that they might have different diets. Also this isn't the case for me but some people just don't eat pork. Unnecessarily judgmental overall!Kid-friendliness: Lots of highchairs available but most needed a good clean

My recent dining experience at Desco Lounge was regrettably overshadowed by two significant issues that significantly impacted the overall enjoyment of the meal. Unfortunately, the presence of hair in the food and the subpar temperature of the dishes left me with an unappetizing impression.Upon receiving my plate, it became immediately apparent that attention to hygiene was lacking. To my dismay, a long strand of hair was unmistakably woven into the dish. This was not only unappetizing but also raised serious concerns about the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas. In addition to the hygiene concern, the temperature of the food was far from satisfactory. The dishes (which was two breakfasts), which should have been served hot, arrived disappointingly cold. The contrast between the lukewarm temperature and the expectations of a freshly prepared meal was stark, leaving me with a sense of dissatisfaction. When i bought these issues to the attention of the staff on service, they were apologetic and responsive, and we were told that we would be contacted by the management team, at the time of writing still have had not been contacted.

Popped in on the off chance while shopping nearby, and it was very good. An interesting menu, good quality, friendly staff and a nice ambience. Would recommend.

Been lots of times now and never disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, great food which comes in good time, and perfect coffee. Dog allowed downstairs which is always great to see. Highly recommend.

I tried to book a 60th birthday and was told you can't book in the day but just to come in early and they would put tables together. This was not the case and I was told we couldn't have the party there. Luckily Indico were more accommodating so the 60th party could still go ahead. I'd advise not to go here with a large group.

Well visited place to eat, lovely friendly staff. Plates could be warmer but food quality was good. Top dollar from where I come. Come again yeah, I enjoyed the breakfast and my daughter always chooses fish finger sandwich which to me is overpriced but hey ho.

Desco lounge has always been a favourite place to dine. So I was dismayed to have a bad experience whilst dining there with my husband. My two issues were…My HOT CHOCOLATE drink that tasted of oats! It was very unpleasant and I returned it.. the lady in charge said she had made it herself and used normal milk! and the taste difference was because it was Vegan! I didn’t realise there was a choice of milk until I checked the menu afterwards; apparently you can pay extra for oat milk as you may have a dairy allergies. I think they may be using the same jug for all there milks which isn’t great & could cause serious health complications for those with allergies. The lady did change my drink at no extra charge.I also ordered a side portion of fries for £3.10p. I received less than a small handful of fries. I asked if the portion was correct and was told the chef weighs the amount so it was correct. Honestly I thought it was daylight robber as there could only have been one small potato used. I have included pics.. felt totally ripped off!Dietary restrictions: You should use separate jugs/utensils for dairy produce. I believe at present you don’t practice this safe method to keep customers from harm.
