“Lovely pub, friendly staff ? Dan made sure we had everything we needed. Was able to come with the dog too which was great. and pool tables. What more could you want!”

“Amazing pub!! We had booked this for a family meal of 10 (incl 2 children) and the service and staff were so accommodating.We all had some form of beef in our meals (Sunday roast, beef fillet, slow cooked blade), there was no trouble in providing kids portions and food was cooked wonderfully. One also had the mussels and she loved it.Picture of the roast beef doesn’t do it justice but it was so well cooked with a huge Yorkshire pudding! Everything was priced very well and the quality was certainly there.Can’t complain about anything, great food, great atmosphere, very lovely service from all the staff members we spoke with and thank you so much for supporting a large group of us. Would highly recommend anyone to go!Thanks again all at The Butlers Arms - great gem in Sutton Coldfield.”

“It was my birthday and went with my children, arrived with a greeting to be directed to our table given a choice and then advised who my server was GARY he was really helpful and kind to my 2 children making them enjoy the experience and myself, Gary also listened to us and told my children jokes, made them laugh, the food was lovely and great service from our server, thank you for making our night memorable, will be visiting again 2nd visit and always enjoy..”

“Like the station pub and usually have a good selection of beers. Sadly service has always been a problem here and no different on Saturday. Had to wait ages to be served and saw a few people give up. Problem being the staff that were on tended to stay in the bar nearest the beer garden leaving one side of the pub unattended. Shame cos like the place.”

“Food was good. Drinks a little expensive.The last time we ate here the waitress couldnt be bothered to find any english mustard for my steak. However on this occasion the gentleman serving us went out of his away to help and find some from the kitchen.”

“Firstly, I love a carvery, my husband doesn't. He only goes with me to have Beef because we don't have it at home as I don't like it. We had a table at 7pm. and the beef was running out, in fact the person who was 2 in front of us had the last of it. Great, a new piece would take its place. NO, NO MORE BEEF !! To say my husband was upset was putting it mildly ! Later we saw that a joint of Lamb had been put out, but too late for my husband. Everything else was absolutely fine about that meal and the service was great but I don't think he'll come with me again to a Carvery.”

“Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere and all staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, much appreciated especially given how busy the restaurant was and it being a particularly hot evening! The reservation was made all the easier as a large group, having given our pre orders in advance. The whole party really enjoyed themselves and as this was our first visit we will definitely be joining you again. Thank you to Gilles and team for a memorable evening.”

“Came here for a wake for one of our friends, the lovely gentleman behind the bar think his name was Josh went above and beyond he always served with a smile and was always polite, not only did Josh serve us on the bar but he always ensured that the empty glasses was taken from the function room to give us space, the spread that was also put on was Delicious, would I recommend to my friends and family? 100% I would the atmosphere around the pub was friendly and welcoming, there was also a young lady that served us she was also helpful, A big thank you to the team for making our day special.”
