First visit to Motte & Bailey today and was hugely impressed. The service was quick and efficient, the food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. The gammon/2 eggs & chips would have cost 1/3 more in any pub. We will be back - well done.

Nice little cafe in the high street with plenty of seating. Good value and quality food. Coffee was great. Service was quick, but could have been a little bit more attentive as had to seek someone out at the back to both order and pay. Good baby change facilities. Would recommend!

Visited many times for coffee however our first evening visit for tapas with family. The service was friendly, timely and efficient. All the tapas dishes we chose were delicious. Each dish was freshly cooked to order with quality ingredients and full of flavour. It was stylish to have the large 250ml rosé presented in a chilled bottle of that size. Portion sizes were very good however the flatbread could be larger. The restaurant had a great atmosphere with good mood lighting. Looking forward to returning to experience different dishes.

We have visted the motte and Bailey cafe lots of times over the years! we went for the breakfast menu and the staff were friendly. It is always very very busy, so food and drinks takes longer to come out. The breakfast was smaller compared to others that i have had recently, however still equally as delicious. Lovely cafe to visit in Arundel

We had a lovely breakfast here on the 22nd of August. The eggs Benedict were particularly good as was the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. The poached Moroccan eggs with merguez sausage were also brilliant. We highly recommend the Motte and Bailey cafe. This is high-end grub not at all a greasy spoon.
Really like this spot. Great food, coffee, ambience and right in the heart of Arundel. Been a few times and will keep going!

Had an afternoon cream tea here. Staff friendly and helpful menu looked good. Cream tea a little disappointing as the jam was not of very high quality.

Visited for the wife's birthday and had Tapas. Staff were friendly and polite but not very attentive, were standing chatting a lot.Food was alright, ordered a variety of dishes (as is the tapas style) some were a bland and underseasoned, the mushroom balls for one. Churros were very over done, some burnt. Good choice of wines.Wouldn't bother again.

Lovely staff, great food and value for money. If you fancy a slightly different breakfast try the Moroccan eggs; 2 x poached eggs, chorizo sausage in a homemade rich tomato, pepper and herb sauce. Yummy.Highly recommended anytime of the day!
