Lovely tea rooms. We had the set afternoon tea prebooked upstairs. Lovely building with character and suitably furnished. Service was very good. Set afternoon tea was good but I wish I'd had the cakes on show as the ones with afternoon tea were not what I like. Choice of scone type would have been nice. I want to say how lovely this restaurant/tea room is. Their food is fresh the staff are fantastic the atmosphere is delightful and the tea room takes you back through history. GO when you visit this town. Thank you all .
We only live 10 minutes from Arundel and we used to come here for tea and cake every 2-3 weeks. The choice of cakes is by far the best in Arundel and the lemon meringue pie simply can’t be beaten anywhere.With loose tea leaves and huge teapot even for 1 person its a bonus. But the prices have crept up ( inevitable I suppose ) so we have to space our visits out more. My only criticism is that the carpet on the stairs badly needs replacing and all the fabric upholstery needs cleaning...read full review
