The food at the Steakist is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the chef is so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.

Visited last week with a friend. Ribeye undercooked - very rare, asked for it medium rare - so very politely asked for it to be cooked slightly more - this isn't a problem as a customer, how you like a steak is a personal thing. But my returned steak was basically burnt. Bitter, and actually burnt. I had asked for a medium rare! Sorry guys, I wasn't impressed. If your chef takes offence to a request for "just a couple of minutes more" and then crucifies it, they shouldn't be cooking. Total shame as the drinks and atmosphere were spot on.

We hadn’t booked but we’re given a table on what was obviously a very busy night. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We both had a steak and although quite expensive were cooked to perfection. Probably one of the best steaks I have ever had. My only criticism was the lack of sides as the dish only came with fries and anything else was another extra charge. I would however highly recommend a visit

A very disappointing meal. The service staff were great but the food was very poor. Medium ribeye steaks were burnt and frankly inedible. Peppercorn sauce was a splash in the bottom of a ramekin. The meal was over priced. Come on guys get your act together

The Steakist has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

Wednesday steak night was not up to expectations ,the price and the portions dont match. It was the most overpriced piece of steak. OVERPRICED! It doesnt worth the hype. The sauces served not hot, not tasty. Not a place I will ever go again.

Had a lovely lunch with my two daughters. Everything about it was lovely; service, food, ambience and prices. Very much looking forward to a return visit. I hope it's not too long !

The setting is nice and staff are friendly, sadly the food is not up to the standard you would expect . We had the burnt ends to start and the sauce it came in was so strong and overpowering it spoilt the taste , it was pointed out to the staff which took the comments on board. Myself and my friend then had the £65 butcher block sharing steak , sounded great on the menu but when arrived it is presented on a wooden block with the meat already cut up so you have no way of knowing if your actually getting the size of steak advertised, and being on the wooden block unless you eat very fast the meat will soon be cold as not kept warm and when you on a social with friends chatting and having fun is all part of the meal , not the race to eat your food. We were really looking forward to trying this place but when you go out you want the restaurant to be the whole package , good food , atmosphere, service , sadly this is not the place for that.

Phenomenal food, fantastic service , lots of calories and the gentlemen who saw to us was lovely and attentive. Didn’t grab name but was great. Thanks

Nice setting and friendly helpful staff. Both of us had the ribeye, cooked medium. Sadly both steaks were obviously cooked to fast, they were chewy and the fat was in places raw. Roquefort sauce was weak and watery. Will not be going back

Arundel festival week advertised Happy hour in the festival brochure between 6 pm and 7 pm . Booked for dinner and said we would be coming in for Happy hour . Arrived and ordered g and t and a beer . Expected them to be honored in Happy hour and not full price. Only to be told it was only on cocktails. We had expressly asked at booking to be told yes Happy hour. However after we had started them we were told only on cocktails. Not printed in brocheur and not mentioned when ordered.Yes it was Happy hour but it was not honoured .
