This is our local curry house. We have had takeaways and always enjoyed them. However we booked a table to eat in. We have two young kids so booked an early table (5:30pm). However our food didn’t arrive until 7:15pm, with no apology! The food was okay but the kids had had enough by then and we really didn’t enjoy the experience. We won’t be eating in again
Really tasty dinner for 4 of us. Bengal fish fry, chicken 65 and paratha. Service for drinks and food ordering took time but restaurant was very busy and managing walk ins and deliveries as well as table service. Great to see southern Indian dishes on the menu. Any chance of Appam? Definitely go back and soon.

Last night was the first time we had been to the Curry Lounge since it reopened and we were not disappointed. Both the decor and atmosphere were great, a big improvement. Having read some recent reviews we were worried that the service and food would be disappointing, nothing could be further from the truth both were outstanding. The food was hot and very tasty served quickly and with a smile, couldn’t have been better. We will certainly go again.
