This is an excellent, traditional, down-to-earth pub - as it was and should be. Very down to earth; nothing poncy. No hooray Henrys. We didn't eat, so can't comment on that, but well worth a trip. Long may it thrive :-)

No food at the moment, but the beer and staff are excellent. I had never been in this pub before, and was treated like a regular. Every one was very friendly and sitting outside looking over the green lovely.Wheelchair accessibility: Very good

Very friendly. Good location. Adequate though very dull food. Lasagne small and seemed reheated. Ham egg chips ok. Disappointed despite the friendliness
