Vegetarian options: Good amount of choice for vegetarians, with a variety of options from different cuisines.Parking: Good number of spaces in the road directly outside of the pub, but they are often full. We were lucky to find one space available, but unsure how easy it is to find alternative parking if these spaces are full.

Full Disclosure : Wisborough Green is where my family lives and I came back for a visit last week. Everything about this place kicks butt - the staff are terrific, the food was outstanding, the bar is well stocked and the location is super convenient whether you're passing through or stopping. Give it a try - the best Pub by miles in the Wisborough Green area!!

Stunning pub that I’ve been to many times 5-6 years ago, so first visit back in a while. Unfortunately we were there for 3.5 hours due to slow service despite my Mum calling ahead to say we were with our grandfather who’s elderly and hard of hearing so we’d like to avoid the lunch rush and be in and out in good time. He actually fell asleep at the table due to it taking so long!Pheasant was burnt to a crisp, I had 2 potatoes, my partner had 5 (we ordered the same thing), and one half of a carrot and one half of a parsnip each next to a bowl of greens that was swimming in water was disappointing for £19. My brother’s partner left her mushroom wellington as it looked like a Greggs bake, very thin and not Wellington-like at all.Lemon syllabub just tasted like a bowl of cream. Had to get up and clear drinks myself at one point as they were just piling up in front of my grandfather. We also waited half a hour for pudding before prompting them and my grandfather was then told there was no sorbet left… then it miraculously appeared, so we’d obviously been forgotten about.I know it’s a busy time of year with Christmas but the front of house team, as lovely as they were, just felt rushed off their feet and what could be a fantastic pub was massively let down by lack of attentiveness and mediocre food. For a £200+ bill it just stung a bit. I wasn’t going to complain on the day and ruin a family lunch, but I hope this can be taken constructively.

Disappointed! We came last night to celebrate my daughter’s birthday having had a lovely meal here a few weeks ago. The service and atmosphere were as good but the food was so disappointing. The Trout starters were flavourless and unimaginative, the fish and chips was awful with the batter thick and overcooked and the fish small overcooked and dry, we should have sent it back but didn’t want to spoil the party. The pheasant was tough and in a simple casserole, not what was expected. Overall a disappointing meal for a lot of money!
