Being lazy and not knowing area. Took us a while to find as parade right side of coop covered in scaffolding. Found the hidden gem. Can see them cooking and it's all fresh crispy veg.tender meats. One of the best takeaway I ever had. So good. Obviously depends if you know your dishes. S/S balls crispy but enough softness inside. Szechuan gorgeous. Beef and onion ginger tender. Moved here 4 years ago from London Took us ages to find the best Chinese place around . We’ve tried every Chinese around and magic wok by far is the most tastiest yummy place we’ve found . No where else compares . The conclusion is if magic wok is shut don’t bother getting a Chinese cos only magic wok will do .

OMG old school Chinese. Chicken and sweetcorn soup delicious, Singapore chow mein delicious, chicken curry and fried rice delicious, chips and pancake roll banging. Service under pressure of awkward customers impeccable. I have loads of Chinese takeaways near me in Portsmouth but the magic wok is better than all of them. I will be back and obviously highly recommend ????
