This Club is an absolute gem, right in the heart of the City centre and only 6 minutes' walk from my house!The Chairman (Chairlady?) and bar staff are so friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.My wife and I have applied to join the club and even though we haven't yet been officially "approved" we have been treated so well, it feels like we have been members for years.Excellent choice of beers, including M & B Mild, three real ales in perfect condition and a wide choice of lager and cider, all at prices much cheaper than in the local pubs and bars.I haven't eaten here yet but the food looks and smells fabulous.It is a beautiful building in a lovely area of the City, so joining this brilliant Club is heartily recommended.

Had the honour of marching thru the town with The Royal Sussex Regiment on St George's Day. Beautiful service in the Cathedral. Really nice to see people lining the street and clapping the veterans. A beautiful place. So many options to choose from. Will definitely visit again
