This little gem is tucked away on the ground floor of the Pallant house gallery. The menus is simple and uncomplicated but all the food is beautifully presented and very good value. I eat out a lot and this has been the nicest lunch I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely return.
We went here for a special full afternoon tea with a glass of bubbly each. It was presented well on a 3 tier stand, and the bubbly was local and excellent. The let down was that you were expected to make your own tea from a bag and a jug. At that price (c£60 for 2) one might expect a tea pot. Lovely afternoon tea with Tinwood sparkling wine. Not just sandwiches for the savoury section which was a nice surprise. Really liked the egg mayo croissants. Having a sausage roll was also a nice touch. Lovely fresh scones. Good selection of sweet treats, including panacotta with apple crumble topping - delicious! Tea was with hot water in a jug and teabags, many cups as required and topped up as needed. Attentive service without being over the top. Thank you
