On Google it said that they were open on Christmas I walked up there in the rain to get Christmas dinner and they were closed and the staff was in the back smoking saying that they didn’t know why it said they were open on Christmas on Google.

Lovely atmosphere, felt at home with Christmas decorations and music. Wasn’t hungry but ordered a few sides from their menu. The chicken strips and halloumi fries were just what I needed. Very friendly staff and even had my favourite gin big smoke rhubarb and lemonade! Great night and very reasonably priced too :) and its dog friendly too l, they even gave Bob (dog) some treats

Nice clean pub. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Live sports. Live music. Not eaten there, hence no stars for food.Would definitely recommend it.

Came here for lunch with family, we all ordered wraps/sandwiches off of the very limited lunch menu. The pub was empty except for us (5 adults) and maybe one or two people nearer the bar. We ordered drinks as soon as we came in, found a table and ordered pretty soon after. Bearing in mind we had ordered wraps and sandwiches that came with chips, we waited a very long time, over half an hour. When the food finally arrived (after us chasing it up with the waitress), it was incredibly lackluster. The fish finger sandwiches were supposed to come with tartare sauce and on bloomer bread. The thin fish fingers were in cheap white bread and served with mayo on the side. The halloumi and chicken wraps were served without any other kind of filling, like salad etc and again the sauces were on the side meaning that they were very dry. The only thing that saved the visit was a couple of games of pool, despite the cues bring sticky and there being a poster on the wall saying that pool was free (it was cheap but not free!). Based on this, we wouldn't return which is a shame as we could see this being a real gold mine!

Came here for Sunday lunch. First time weve been here for about four years. The food has improved but the vegetables were soggy ( to be fair though we did come after two so Sunday lunch had been going since 12. Its very cheap, so you get what you pay for. The pub itself is clean and there are obviously locals who go in there alot. It does though have a lot of loud swearing which is off putting if you are trying to have a chat with friends. Would we rush back, probably not . There are far better places for a Sunday lunch but the staff are friendly.
