My great nephew and I went to The Four Chesnuts on Friday July 28th evening . We played games of pool, had great chats with other customers, had some lovely friendly talk with the staff and enjoyed some very tasty food. My great nephew had fish fingers, baked beans and garlic bread and I enjoyed four sausages, mashed potato and a Yorkshire pudding filled with gravy and onion rings. A brilliant pub, real old skool feeling like a proper boozer. Never change it please. Can't fault anything. Provided the disco for Sharon's leaving party. Everyone was super friendly, it just felt like a pub should. So many have been ruined by being turned into white washed sports bars for people who have never set foot in a real pub. This is the real deal. Walk in get a pint. Feel like you belong. All the best team from Atlantic Sound Disco crew.

On a walkabout we found The Four Chesnuts. It was early after mid week and we were the only customers. The barman was welcoming as were our drinks. The front bar is quite unique being in the fork of the road and watching the trafic coming straight at us. The bar extends back a long way and there is a lovely garden to the rear.
