Lovely selection of classic pub food, which was reasonably priced for the quality, and served in delicious large portions. We also enjoyed the real ales which are brewed onsite. The staff were friendly and efficient. We spent just under £100 including tip for a party of 4 (4x mains and drinks, didn’t need a dessert as the mains were enormous!). Great country pub for a meal out or a drink.
Nice atmosphere old pup! It was 3pm but the pup was already full. Better to book to avoid any inconvenience I think :)Had pork belly Sunday roast after walk. It was the best Sunday roast I had in England so far. (One of my friend had roast beef and I do remember pork belly over the beef)?Don’t recommend the desserts though. Quite a disappointment.

Gorgeous, unspoilt, old Pub with a big log burner and plenty of quirky seating. Friday treat of a glass of red wine and dipping brie to share made me very happy. Lovely atmosphere, friendly locals and staff...we will visit again!
