After seeing advertised that they had won best fish and chip shop in Sussex we had to try. We've lived in Chichester for years but rarely eat fish and chips, but we decided to on this occasion. We can see why they have been voted the best! The fish was crispy and chips. The kids loved the nuggets! They took care when writing our order and swiftly called out our names after a few mins with it ready! It was really busy and to remember our names was a real treat! We shall be eating here much more often

Very average fish and chips and certain not what I would expect from an award winning fish and chip shop. The chips were bland and a bit soggy and the cod a bit too dry. It was ok but I certainly wouldn't rush to return and it wasn't even close the the excellent fish and chips you can get at Harrys fish and chips near by which was closed that day.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my fish and chips. It’s not just the food, the service is just impeccable. Despite the fact that we don’t have them very regularly, the owner always recognises us, is incredibly friendly and is always really kind to the kids. First class community service.

We celebrated a return trip to England with fish n chips from La Fish tonight and it was great. Our service from Lou and Mitch was super friendly, helpful, and prompt. The fish was packaged so well for takeout that it was still toasty and delish when we reached our hotel. La Fish is a small, neighborly, and very clean fish shop - and maybe the very best in all the UK!

We called through our order 20 minutes prior to collecting it. The food was being packaged as we arrived which meant we knew it would be fresh.The plaice was delicious and my wife’s gluten free cod was the best GF batter that she’s tried.Very impressed!!Dietary restrictions: They offer a gluten free batter that my wife absolutely loved!

Being gluten free I struggle to find a decent alternative fish batter. They are either too greasy, tasteless or thin and flakey. The GF cod from La Fish was beautifully seasoned and cooked.Our children couldn't get enough of the Plaice, so it was good we had a HUGE portion!Overall, a wonderful chippy dinner.

Take-the-worry away with Fish, Chips & Kebabs supper!! I had a family of 12 getting together for a summer evening in the garden. We didn’t want the fuss of a BBQ and everyone likes something different! La Fish were superb - our order was in at 4:30 & ready by 5:30! No washing up after!! A real treat - thanks La Fish -

Wow! You can see why it was voted best in Sussex. Travelled from Hove to visit it and it didn’t disappoint! Great food, amazing staff - can’t recommend highly enough!

Unfortunately today I've received a kebab with no sauce or salad on delivery which is not what I ordered.Honestly completely disappointed ordered a couple weeks ago everything was perfect the meal I've received tonight is below average and totally not acceptable.Cannot stand an inconsistent restaurant like this, I'll absolutely not be returning this meal is dry and tasteless very disappointed. Luckily deliveroo refunded me credit so I threw it all in the bin and ordered elsewhere.
