Had a meal on Monday 23 Oct came very quickly but chips and burger was Luke warm and the burger was red in the middle. Complained and got another meal this time chips were ok but burger was no different. I expected better for the price but was the worst meal I've had in a long time. Will not be returning.

We had a lovely breakfast cooked by Mikey, and Saskia’s service was welcoming and friendly. Thank you for a lovely meal!

Poped into Trent’s in Chichester earlier this evening after having a lovely lunch At the Ivy. We asked for a cocktail only to be told we were to DRUNK TO BE SERVED! not being funny but my friend and I are 60yrs old! And far from drunk! We were waiting for are train to Arundel and had a 20 min wait. I have since called tents and they were completely rude! I am disabled and rarely go out, this has triggered my health and will never go there again

I had a wonderful stay at Trents. Trevor was an excellent breakfast host. All staff were great. The room was clean and well appointed.

I’ve been in Trent’s many a time with my mother while out in Chichester for the day, most of the time we’ve been pretty satisfied with food, drink and service. Today however a completely different experience, firstly after finally flagging down a very disinterested bar staff member we were informed that the kitchen was closed as they had run out of food?!?! A little alarming by 2:30pm on a Saturday, we were informed by said team member that if we sat down with our drinks they would be over shortly to update us on when we could order food. A hour later, no word on weather we could order food or not, the staff collated at the bar in a discussion among themselves continuing to be disinterested in their actual job & a chef that had completely disappeared from the gantry? We only wanted to order 2x Cheese & Bacon Burgers. How difficult could it be? Communication completely lost between staff and customer, safe to say I’m glad we gave it a miss if this is the quality of service. Shocking!

It's very expensive to drink in here even though it's a green king pub 6 pound+ a pint but a nice beer garden to the side

Lovely food, nice bar team. Clean, tidy setting. We eat and drink here maybe once a week and have always had a great experience

Lovely clean pub.Obviously an old building but looks like it has been recently modernised and "gentrified".Greene King pub, so the usual beers are available with the notable exception of IPA which is one of GK's staples, so an oddity here. They even have a range of non-alcoholic gins for "mocktails"!Located in South Street with a bus stop servicing several routes right outside the front door.

Enjoyed the happy hour price drinks. Nice to set at window in sunshine ☀

I’m saddened to say that I’ve been drinking in Trent’s for years. But most recently I’ve had nothing but bad service. Especially by a tall guys, blondish hair and very casual dressed. For the amount I spend on a drink in here I expect to be greated and presented with proper customer service.

Stayed here many times throughout the years and never disappointed! Great bar and excellent heated outside terrace. Only one observation, I'm not mad on the fried egg at breakfast! Too much pepper and overcooked. Prefer over easy... but that's just me!

Popped on for a snack lunch. Checked that the kitchen was operating normally and then placed my order for a single menu item. This simply did not arrive. After I complained I was eventually told the temporary chef was not familiar with the layout of the kitchen. I left.
