We used to order from here regularly because it was one of the only places who does proper onion rings not the fake stuff. We had not ordered since before Christmas and to our horror discovered that the onion rings had been changed to fake ones. Extremely disappointing. This is not an indication about the rest of the food or service we receive here. We are just extremely disappointed that one of the only places that did decent onion rings has now cheaped out like everywhere else.

I would of rated half a star but feel one star was being generous, the staff's customer service along with the food is appalling.The fish itself tasted like it was fermenting for weeks, the chips on the other hand was soggy like they poured half a bottle of vinegar on it.I would avoid this place at all costs, I did wake up the next morning with terrible sickness which costed me 2 days off work, not good and staff unapologetic aswell. I recommend northgate fish and chips , a small chips is like an extra large.

Fabulous people and great yummy food!They went above and beyond to try and help us out after just eat messed up a delivery and caused problems at bother their end and ours! The manager/owner and you young girl assistant both who I spoke to really were amazing and I cannot praise them and their service enough.The food is always great from here and it is always enjoyed by the whole family.Keep up the good work guys you are awesome! ???

Lovely meal for the price. Went for the sausage in batter and wasn't disappointed. Chips weren't quite there but the service was very friendly and they managed to whip together some curry sauce just after I'd forgotten it. Overall very decent and I'm a happy customer. Will be back!

Wait for food was lengthy, which wouldn’t have been so bad if the Food wasn’t terrible, fish was watery, batter soggy, chips dry. Wrote to management when I got home to complain still 2 days later no response back. Spent £40* In Here definitely NOT worth the money.

Visiting in the area, a simple curry chip butty, bread roll breaking so dry. Curry sauce like powder. Partner had a pie, couldn't even cut the lid it was so hard. Positives at the end always. Very clean place. Staff very polite, chips were decent. Regardless of price. Very below average
I absolutely love Fish R Us staff are amazing extremely friendly and polite, and the food is amazing always fresh and hot i definitely don't go anywhere else since I found this particular fish & chip place love it and all the staff everyone needs to try this place ? you won't regret

Ordered fish and chips this evening. Fish was well cooked and very tasty! Chip portion was large, the chips were piping hot, fresh and delicious. Will order again soon!
