Wow — this place is absolutely incredible! My family and I (group of 4) are staying one night in Crawley for a layover out of Gatwick to California and were looking for some good authentic Indian food for our last meal in England. Kitchen Royale was definitely the best choice we could have made!Even though the place was packed, we were seated quickly and treated with the greatest kindness by all the staff. I read a lot of reviews but I rarely write one (I know, I'm one of those). I absolutely had to write a review of this place though- it is the best AUTHENTIC Indian food I have ever had. My husband and I travel frequently and we have tried Indian food all around the world. This little gem put them all to shame. We decided to try this restaurant on the strength of previous reviews and it absolutely lives up to its reputation. The owners/staff are really friendly, clean washrooms, subtle decor and music. But it is the food that is its crowning glory. Choice of 'hotness' which is great. Really good sized portions, which we couldn't finish, (but were immediately offered takeaway containers) and each dish we tried was absolutely delicious.
