i love this little pub !, it’s amazing with its variety of food, friendly staff and great location! it’s hard to find a pub what can deal with big groups of people including kids and dogs but the old house in is amazing ! wanted to thank lewes and his staff for a great meal !

When booking, I asked for detail on the shower (Coomber room). I was told very clearly there was a “bath with a shower over”. This is very misleading. There is a free standing bath with a shower cradle attachment. As 75 year olds, my wife and I were entitled to an accurate description of the arrangement. To make matters worse, the water pressure via the bath taps was very low. Not a pleasant experience. Had I known the truth I would have declined to book.However, the room itself was comfortable enough (bed OK).The service from the excellent staff was high quality and complemented by the excellent food.So, Butcombe Brewery, make sure your guests are fully and accurately informed as to exactly what you offer bathroom-wise, but keep on giving your diners and B&B guests the excellent service we got.Food & drinks: Excellent. Great dinner and beautifully cooked breakfast.

We have just got married here. 5 stars is not enough to recommend that wonderful place. Great location 15 min away drive to Crawley Register Office, beautiful inside area, outside garden area. The most important for us The Old House is dog friendly.The manager was the best to work with - he was easygoing and professional from the start. The food is delicious. All staff is friendly and professional. It was our dream place of our wedding ✨️ ? Amazing. We can not thanks enough for all of you what you have done for us.

Lovely Sunday lunch - with proper vegan options!We chose the Old House because they offer a proper Vegan option for the roast dinner (as opposed to just a token burger) - and we weren't dissapointed.We both had the Vegan Wellington, and the whole meal was very tasty. Just goes to show, it can be done!Service could have been a little quicker, but not awful. Overall, we'd definitely recommend if you're vegan and want a good quality meal in the local area.Food & drinks: Great food, with vegan options

Visited for Mother’s Day lunch and I have to say the staff were great, very polite and kept checking to ensure we were fine for drinks and that the food was OK.The roast was fine good size and quality.
